How
do I make sure I dont print on the wrong paper? |

We recommend
that you run the Daily Process in two steps:
1. Run Daily
Process and only print the Action Worksheets and Exception
Reports.
2. Click
on File then Print Letters. Choose to print unprinted
letters. This will tell you the number of letters that
will be printed, so you can change the paper stock in
your printer and print on letterhead.

What
do I do if I am going to be on vacation? |

A.

|
If the telemarketer
is going to be on vacation or missing for a few days,
there are three options:
1. Designate
another individual to Run Daily Process,
print the letters, and takes care of sending the appropriate
letters out for that day.
2. Wait
until the Telemarketer is back in the office, and continue
where the Telemarketer left off.
3. Change
the date on the computer and Run Daily Process
for each day the Telemarketer will be absent. After
Run Daily Process for the last day, print Unprinted
Letters. This will print all of the letters that
will need to be sent out, and they can simply be sent
on the particular days stated on the letters
exactly as if the Telemarketer was there.

How
can I change the letters? |

Go to View/Modify Templates and select the template
that you wish to change. When making changes, be sure
you DO NOT make any changes before the saluation
line. These lines are specifically designed to fit
in a number 10 window envelope, and the codes for a
standard #10 window envelope are specifically designed
to work properly.

How
do I change the salutations? |

When working with a prospect, select the
formal or informal salutation for the contact. |

Why
do you tell me not to change anything between the >>
symbols? |

SaleSource has macros built
into the templates that will strip those symbols out of
the letter when it is printed. These symbols identify
for SaleSource where the information is
for the prospects name and address. They are designed
to fit in a standard number 10 window envelope. |

Which
Strategy Do I Use When.....
|

have called the prospect several times and they dont
return my call? |
| |
Check the box next to Change Strategy
and write in No Contact. The system will then
be updated to the No Contact Strategy. Then the
next time the Daily Process is run a No Contact letter
will be sent out and in 4 business days you will receive
another Action Worksheet to call again. |

I want to get back to a prospect 2 or more months prior
to an expiration date in the future? |
| |
Indicate on the Action Work sheet, the number of months
prior to the time you want to get back to the prospect.
For example, if you want to get back to a prospect 2-3
months prior to an ex-date 8 months in the future, you
would choose a 5 or 6 Month Automatic Contact. There
are 2 thru 12 Month Automatic Contact (WAIT) Strategies
in SaleSource. Circle the number of months or write
in the 7, 8, 10 or 11.
The same is true if you want to get a Contract/Ex-date
in the future of a previously quoted prospect that you
know, and they know you. You would then use the appropriate
2 thru 12 month Contract/Ex-Date Strategy.
Check the box next to Change Strategy and write
in Contract/Ex-Date. Then, Circle the number of months
or write in the 7, 8, 10 or 11.

I want to get back at a date certain in the future, with
a letter going out now and with or without a wake-up letter
prior to the call date? |

There are 4 strategies
that might be appropriate for this situation, depending
on the circumstances.
|

Appt Thanks/Call at Contract/X-date letter goes
out when the next Run Daily Process is run.
At the designated date (You Designate) the Renewal
Soon/Will Call You letter goes out and Call for
Right to Quote goes to the salesperson.

Appt Thanks/Call in Future
Appt Thanks/Call in Future letter goes out when
the next Run Daily Process is run. At the designated
date (You Designate) the Call for Right to Quote
goes to the salesperson.

Appt Thanks/Submission
Appt Thanks/Submission Future letter goes out
when the next Run Daily Process is run. At the designated
date (You Designate) the Call for Right to Quote
goes to the salesperson.
